I wanted to be a designer from a young age, before I even knew I could turn my love for art into a career. Whenever I had a free moment, I was drawing, painting and creating something.
I've made my career as a publication designer and art director for the last 20+ years, where I've had the honor to work for a number of well-known brands, including The Atlantic and The Heritage Foundation.
I've approached each position I've ever had as an opportunity to learn something new—how to commission art/photography, how to style photos, how to build a visual identity for a brand, how to manage a team, how to work with print vendors. And most importantly, to always keep the audience at the center of design decisions I make.
